RAZER BLADE 14 QHD

Razer is back this year with an updated look at its Blade 14 series of
laptops and, this time, it’s packing some serious heat (metaphorical, not
literal) into this super slick pseudo-Ultrabook. With an 8-core, 1 6-thread
Ryzen processor, 165 Hz 14 40p screen, and an RTX 3080 at its heart, this
super-sleek notebook is a true king of gaming prowess.
While it looks incredible, it is also more than suitable for the office,
with some excellent connectivity and WiFi 6 E as standard. There’s a
1TB PCIe 3 .0 M.2 SSD and 16 GB of DDR4 as well, although the latter
is soldered on, so no upgrades are available there, sadly. Still,
this thing is just the king of laptops.

LAPTOPRUNNER UP

LG GRAM 17

Second in line for the throne this year is the LG Gram 17. In contrast
to the monster above, this Ultrabook is solely aimed at the student
or professional in need of a bigger screen and a lighter device—and,
boy, do you get that. Weighing in at an incredible 2. 98 lb, this 1 7-inch
notebook packs in an Intel Core i7- 116 5G7 quad-core processor, 16GB
of DDR4, and 1TB of M.2 PCIe 3 .0 SSD.
The screen is awesome too, with a color-accurate IPS panel and
a resolution of 256 0x1600, giving you a pixel density of 17 7.58ppi.
There’s a ton of connectivity included as standard, as well as
support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth too. It does fall on the
pricier side, coming in a few dollars shy of $1,800,
but the specs list alone makes it worth it.
