(a) Put theduckinto anoiledfrying-pan
and fry until brown. Turn frequently, so
thateverypart oftheduckreceives thesame
amountofheat.
(b) AddthegingerandFunWineandfry
for 2 minutes. Takeoutandputintoabowl.
The liquidleftinthefrying-panis tobeput
intpaseparatebowl.
(c) Add 2 cupsofwatertothecheese and
mash. Rubthiswellintotheduck,insideand
outside.
(d) Putthepotatoesintothecooking-pan.
Placetheduckontop. Addenoughwaterto
cover all. Over this pour any cheese liquid
whichremains. Addthecarrot.
(e) Coverthepanandcookuntiltender.
