Corn Chowder


On a visit to Georgia, a friend of mine turned me on to raw corn chowder. It was summer and corn was readily available, so each night we


experimented with new evolutions of corn chowder. We decided this final version was the perfect chowder.


SERVES 2 TO 4

½ cup sprouted almonds
1 cup filtered water
1 clove garlic
¼ cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
2 large carrots, shredded
1 cup corn kernels (approximately 2 ears corn)
2 tablespoons chopped onion, rinsed
Pinch of nutritional yeast
Bragg Liquid Aminos

Place the almond sprouts, water, garlic and cilantro in a blender and blend until creamy. Add the carrots, corn, onion, and yeast and blend until
chunky. Add the Braggs to taste. Pour into bowls and serve.
