Rich and Creamy Seed Cheeze
Avocado trees can grow almost anywhere, although they’ll usually only bear fruit in the tropics. In New York City, my mother has grown an
avocado tree for more than twenty-five years. It is kept inside because avocados don’t enjoy the cold. It may never fruit, but it’s nice to know it is
there.
MAKES 3 CUPS
1 avocado, peeled and pitted
2 cups Basic Seed Cheeze, prepared using sunflower seeds
¼ cup minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons Bragg Liquid Aminos
In a large bowl, mash the avocado. Stir in the seed cheeze, parsley, yeast, and Braggs. Serve.
