Acer has engineered a special metal alloy
heat block that conducts four times faster
than copper, and coupled it with a pair of fans
(one of which is a fancy AeroBlade 3 D fan) to
effectively distribute cooling throughout the
chunky base of the Helios 500.

One of the key features of AmLED (which
isn’t a new technology as much as it is
AUO’s fancy marketing term for Mini-LED)
is its ambient contrast ratio, which the
manufacturer claims can outclass even OLED
in brightly lit environments. We’re going to
