Demonstrative pronouns
18 Questo and quello are also used as demonstrative pronouns (this (one),
that (one), these (ones), those (ones) ). But note that when quello is used as a
demonstrative pronoun, its endings are not modelled on the definite article
(cf. paragraph 10), but are the same as those of questo (i.e. quello [ms], quella
[fs], quelli [mp], quelle [fp]):
