It’s my guess that about 25% of all the hummingbird photos you see in magazines are using this
background idea. They put some sort of nectar tube is a good spot, set up the photo background,
lights, tripod and so on... Then they focus their lens on the area in front of the tube (so they
won’t have to focus later) and wait for a bird to come by.
