points off the bat for its attractive location: a
cute brick building constructed circa 1805 inthe heart of historic Fredericksburg. The food
isn’t bad either, mainly consisting of soup and
sandwich, pub-like fare, with an admirable mix
of vegetarian options such as a local take on
lasagna and black bean quesadillas. There’s a

Another B&B that’s pretty much as cute,
friendly and historically evocative as
surrounding Fredericksburg itself. There are
nine rooms to pick from; the Old Town features
redbrick walls and exposed beams, while the
Canopy is lacy and filigreed from the floor to

bedrooms in a watermelon-colored house with
a gorgeous patio and backyard set the scene in
this excellent Victorian B&B. Owners Andi and
Paul are warm and welcoming, and Andi cooks a
mean breakfast to boot. Service is personalized- you feel like these folks really care about your
holiday.

vc) We give Burger Bach credit for being
the only restaurant found in the area that self-
classifies as a New Zealand-inspired burger
joint. And that said, why yes, they do serve
excellent lamb burgers here, although the
locally sourced beef (and vegetarian) options
are awesome as well. You should really go
crazy with the 14 different sauces available for
