unending war between Islam and all other belief systems.^248
The fact that the Islamic calendar starts from some point
halfway through the “revelations” of the Koran shows how
an understanding of the chronology is of vital importance in
understanding Islam. To signify this, our chronological
Koran is split into two halves: one half is the violent Koran
from when Mohammed was a politician, the other, (earlier)
half is from when Mohammed was just a preacher. The
latter (violent) Koran is the only part of the Koran which
has a date within the Islamic calendar. When exceptional
Muslim scholars advocated abandoning the later part of
the Koran, they are killed for apostasy.^249 This proves
that there is no hope of reforming Islam.
