“But Not All Muslims Are Violent”

“Those  of  the believers   who sit still   [avoiding   jihad],

other   than    those   who have    a   (disabling) hurt,   are not

on  an  equality    with    those   [Muslims]   who strive  in  the

way of  Allah   [   perform jihad]  with    their   wealth  and

lives.  Allah   hath    conferred   on  those   who strive  with

their   wealth  and lives   a   rank    above   the sedentary

[Muslims    who pay for Jihad   or  die performing  Jihad

are superior    to  those   Muslim  slackers    who are

sedentary]. Unto    each    Allah   hath    promised    good,   but

He  hath    bestowed    on  those   who strive  a   great   reward

above   the sedentary”  [Jihadis    are rewarded    as

Muslims more    than    slackers]

Even the BBC’s hagiography of Mohammed admits
that the Islamic calendar begins with Mohammed leaving
Mecca and moving to Medina:

Muhammad’s   popularity  was     seen    as

threatening by  the people  in  power   in  Mecca,

and  Muhammad    took    his     followers   on  a

journey from    Mecca   to  Medina  in   622.   This

journey  is  called  the     Hijrah  (migration)     and

the event   was seen    as  so  important   for Islam

that     622     is  the     year    in  which   the     Islamic

calendar    begins.^250
