thingfromGod'sWordconfirmingordenyingthehu-
manconclusion.

Factisconformitytotruth. WhenGodstatedthe
infinite truth of theWord, Hesaw allthe facts of
theuniversethatlaywithinthemeaningofthattruth,
andGod'sstatementdidnotcontradictasingletruth,
andthere wasnot a factinthe universeleftunex-
plainedbythetruth. Truthisconformitytofact,and

andnature consists offacts; and sothere is perfect
conformitybetweentheBible andnature. The facts
of nature illustrate the truth of the Bible, and the
Bibleguidesusinourcontemplationofnature. Thus

pothesisregardingallthefieldsofknowledge. Ifwe
attempttounitetruthwith error,orgoodwith evil,
thestatementsof theWorddrive a lineofcleavage
