open and the public is flooding in. That will happen,
he'll find a way. He'll actually be motivated to make it
happen, but the program has to go in first.

I was reading only recently about a group of people
who decided to get together on a weekly basis to
brainstorm a project for a new hospital wing. The group
of nine met every week. Each week there would be a
reason why a decision couldn't be reached. It could have
been that more facts were needed, a little research on this
or details to a business plan had to be added or altered.
This went on for nine years. Years not months! One day
the group was ready to meet to make the final decision,
only to find that one of the group members was off sick.
The woman in charge of the project said they'd have to
put off the making of the decision until next week.
Another member of the team suddenly stood up and
said, "This debate has been going on nine years and I've
just realized why. If we finally decide what it is that
we're going to do, these weekly meetings will be no
longer necessary. The end of the project will be over. The
baby will have to be given to someone else. I say we
make the decision today and let's get on with a new
project." They voted right there and then and finally
came to a decision, after nine years. Years not months!

I had dealings with a very creative woman. She
came up with an idea that I'm convinced would have
made her a small fortune. She designed her letterhead.
It looked superb. She designed her products. They
were eminently saleable. She put together a complete
business plan. It was very comprehensive. The project
'worked', everything was, in place. This thing was a
flyer. I guarantee it. What did she do next. She
stopped. She shelved the whole project. I came to
realize later, she has done this, if not hundreds of
times, certainly dozens of times, before. She cannot
'see' herself actually turning her dreams into reality.
