picture first. I then add in the voices and sounds.
That's the easy bit for me. I have to work hard on
creating the pictures.

Is there any correlation between the amount of time
you have the pictures held in your minds eye and the
length of time it takes to accomplish a goal?
I was hoping nobody would ask me that one! This
is something I have puzzled with over a long period of
time. I am convinced there must be. I am sure it can
even be put down to a law of physics. But I don't have
a definite conclusion. Something I do know for certain,
I never accomplish a goal until I have actually' seen' it
in my imagination. The other thing is the clearer I can
'see' it the quicker it happens. Sometimes things
happen so quickly it literally frightens me!

Back to the old subject of failure. Is it true all
successful people have failed? How many failures
have you had?
In a way failure is my favorite subject because I
feel I know so much about it. English novelist John
Creasy got 753 rejection slips before he got his 564
books published. R.H. Macy failed seven times before
his New York store caught on. Babe Ruth struck out
1,330 times, but he also hit 714 home runs. Heavy
hitters who hit the most home runs always strike out a
lot.

I got 137 rejection slips on one of my books. I have
had numerous businesses collapse on me. (Really,
knowing what I know now, I can see clearly that I
came to the end of my program in each and every
case) I have had various partners and I also have tried
my hand at many different types of business. I have
failed numerous times, that's why they now call me
Mr Persistence. I just never, ever give up. Ever!
