CMRP Eligibility


▪ There are no educational experiences or other requirements,
▪ Not be convicted of a felony or other crime of moral turpitude
▪ Not sit for the exam within six (6) months of previously taking the
CMRP
▪ Must follow a code of ethics:
o Agree to maintain the confidentially of the examination
content and to never disclose examination content to others
o Pledge to represent their profession ethically and honorably
o Represent their qualifications honestly
o Consistently maintain and improve professional knowledge
and competence

o Conduct their business and professional activities with
honesty and integrity, and respect

The CMRP Exam


▪ Examining more than just textbook information, the CMRP is a
thorough examination of a broader scope of expertise measured
against a universal standard
▪ Based on the SMRP’s Body of Knowledge
▪ 110 multiple choice questions
▪ 2.5 hours (00:01:21 minutes per question)
▪ Closed book with no reference materials allowed
▪ A hand-held calculator with arithmetic functions is
▪ No other personal calculators, computers or electronic devices are
permitted.
▪ No penalty for incorrect questions
▪ 3 - 5 weeks for results
▪ If unsuccessful, you must wait at least 6 months before retaking the
exam
