Inherent vs Actual
In the figure above, equipment degrades until new PdM program
implemented in 2012. A change of leadership results in less support for the
program and the decline continues, along with trying to run the asset faster
than available. A holistic approach to operations and maintenance was
started in 2014 and the improvements have trended up.
Notice how inherent is 95%. Why is that?
