the longitudinal arch is corrected curvatures in the spine are
gradually made normal. As the metatarsal arch is corrected, lungs
and thyroid conditions improve. In reality, the whole body responds
and functions better as the feet are reshaped.
To make it possible to properly see the adjustments on paper we
found it necessary to change feet from picture to picture. However,
you do the complete 6 point adjustment on each foot without
switching.
First adjustment:
The first position is to adjust the metatarsal arch. For the right foot
the right thumb is pressed down on the small toe joint at right angles
to the foot with the finger tips holding the upper part (toward the big
toe) of the longitudinal arch for leverage (No. 37).
No. 38 Second adjustment
Second adjustment:
Retain the position of the first adjustment. Drop the palm of the
right hand down over the toes, suspending the thumb and first finger
with the big toe slightly showing (No. 38). Press all toes under and
twist the foot from side to side in a half circle. This action loosens
many parts of the foot as well as raising the metatarsal arch.
