CHAPTER III:


Yoga


Because the ancient arts of Vita-Flex, color therapy, and yoga are
so closely related in their actions on the body, I felt compelled to
include a word about yoga. But since I am only a beginning layman
as far as yoga is concerned, I felt it necessary to call upon an expert
for help.


While we do not consider yoga as a form of religion in any sense
of the word, we do consider the natural laws and benefits of the use
of yoga to be of the utmost importance in building and retaining
more complete and balanced health, poise and suppleness of the
physical body. Since the physical body is a part of trinity of being
then as the body strives toward perfection then our mind and spirit
also receives great benefits from its accomplishments.
The practice of yoga allows our mind and spirit to function more
freely and perfectly since it is not held back for a sick and ailing
weakly body.


I consider it a privilege to present this work taken directly from
the original and authentic Sanskrit so that you, the reader, may know
how important this activity and practice became to an ancient
people.
Sometimes, and generally speaking, original works from the past
have not always been enough and sufficient for all the millions of
people who live in the years that follow so they have altered or
improved them to suit themselves. This can be considered as
progress and to these people they have found a more complete
answer or just another way.
