- In a deep, heavy pan, heat the oil over
medium-high heat. - Add the popcorn kernels.
- Cover the pan and turn the heat to
medium-low. - Cook until the popping sound slows
down, 6 to 8 minutes. - Turn off the heat and let the popcorn
sit with the lid on for another 3 minutes. - Sprinkle with the salt and masala.
Serve immediately.
