- Reduce the heat and simmer for 15
minutes. - Either in a blender or using an
immersion blender, blend the mixture.
Return the mixture to a boil, and then
reduce the heat and simmer again until it
thickens, about 2 to 3 minutes. - Add the ginger, black salt, sea salt,
red chile powder, garam masala, and
cumin.
Note: If you don’t have Tamarind Juice
handy or don’t have time to make it,
dissolve 5 tablespoons (75 mL) of
tamarind paste in 3 cups (711 mL) of
water.
