Fear of Disobedience
Fearofdisobedienceandsinsistheactualfearbecauseittakesaway
from vices and forbidden matters, and warns the punishment of the
Hereafter.GodtheElevatedmentionsthepiousbelieverswhofearHim
and escape from disobedience. He says:
Say,surely,Ifear,ifIdisobeymyLord,thechastisementofagrievous
day.
The Prophet said, “One must not fear other than his guilt.”
Beforewecommitasin,we mustrememberandfearGod, Whowill
punish in this world and the Hereafter.
