Reality of Parsimony

sary giving. It is the preference of abstinence in any matter. Imam al-
Hassan(a),whenwasaskedaboutthemeaningofparsimony,expressed,
"Itistoconsideranyspendingasaloss.".Thisisthemostaccuratedefin-
ition of parsimony.
