fear,etc,).HerestoredtheEye,whichsymbolizesdivineconsciousness.Heaccom-
plishedthishealingprocessthroughteachings,whichbringwisdomthatleadsto
rightthinking,andrightacting.Theseteachingsleadtofreedomfromstressand
mentalimbalance.Thus,theultimateandonlytruepurposeofhealingistorestore

storeandmedicamentsforhealing.Itisanevolutionfromthealchemythatwas
practicedinmedievalEurope,whichwasitselfbasedonthemedicalscienceofAn-

bol down to the pharmacist symbol of modern times.
