with his friends. Later, we went back to Richard's
apartment. When everyone was relaxed and comfor
table with each other, I decided to tell them about the
UFOs. The girls were interested and curious, but
Richard took it as just one more account of such
sightings. He said he'd never seen one himself, but lots
of people in the Huancayo area claimed to have seen
some kind of UFO. His comments made me even more
curious, and determined to go back to Acaya and meet
that girl again. To heck with the Sunday Fair.
The next morning, Richard and the girls were still
sleeping when I left the house. I wrote a note saying I
wouldn't return until later, but to enjoy the fair for me. I
took Richard's bike, certain they would prefer to use the
car.
