2.2.1 Maintenance of the Programmable Controller

The MedTrack ST Controller requires little maintenance. Wipe surfaces down weekly with a

damp cloth to remove dirt and dust from the screen and inspect cables for unusual wear. Routine

maintenance of the Colin STBP-780 BP monitor involves:

„ Checking that the cable from the treadmill is connected securely to the back of the
treadmill controller.

2.2.2 Calibration of the Programmable Controller

The Quinton MedTrack Controller does not require any specific calibration. The speed and

grade for each of the eight exercise protocols on the treadmill controller will be confirmed on a weekly

basis. The chief technologist will be responsible for this procedure.

2.2.2.1 Confirming the Speed and Grade Settings on the Treadmill Controller
