Facilitator preparation:
Collect or make four to six balls for each group of seven to 12 participants. Balls can be any size or combination of
sizes. They can be made from clean, rolled socks, paper, or plastic bags.
Print a set of “Demonstration Cards” for each pair of participants.
Prepare flip charts 1-6.
Note: Communication and listening patterns vary greatly across cultures. For this session it is important to have a host culture
counterpart as a co-facilitator. At the very least, find a reliable cultural informant to advise you, especially for the Information and
Application sections.
