Life Skills & Leadership: Unit 4, Session 1: What is a Leader? | Page 10 of 91
“We then identified leaders we know and determined the leadership qualities they have. Finally, we
talked about two different types of leadership and we learned that whether they are effective or not
sometimes depends on the situation.
“Keep in mind that all the leaders we talked about began like you. They became effective leaders by
learning from their experiences. They figured out how to use their skills differently in different
situations. In our next session together, we’ll talk more about leadership and how leaders can best work
with all the different people on a team.”
