Most doctors will admit that patients are primarily
responsible for healing themselves. Patients can't pray
and then do nothing else, expecting a healing to fall into
their laps. Patients can participate in the healing by
using every alternative noninvasive method in this book
that seems to work.


By entering an altered state of consciousness in your
Otherworld healing temple, you contact the patient, see
the disease or damage, and sometimes its cause. Then
you trigger a healing through imaged treatment. Some
healers may see a patient through a type of X-ray vision,
especially when working on broken bones. This type of
vision work rarely comes without a lot of practice by a
healer, and never by trying to force it. Just relax and let
your intuition guide you.


The healer must concentrate on the patient at all
times during the healing and not think about the healing
itself. Don't dwell on the healing after it is finished
because that will siphon off healing energy.


The healer must use mental pictures to convince the
patient's subconscious mind to heal the body. The
subconscious mind is able to do wonderful things, most
of them considered impossible by the conscious mind.
The subconscious mind regulates all the body activities,
so healing a disease is a relatively insignificant task.
Mental pictures will show the patient's subconscious
mind how to correct the problem, thus opening up a
connection with universal healing energy.


Guided imagery in meditation or absent healing is
important in the healing arts. Imagery can increase the
natural killer cell activity, increase the production of
