Figures 11.60 and 11.61 show the different appearance of a knife stab wound in

the skin of the leg in infrared and ultraviolet light.

The color photograph (Figure 11.62) shows the tattooed mummified tissue of
the back of a homicide victim, and the infrared photograph (Figure 11.63) of
the same tissue clearly shows tattoo detail not visible with the naked eye. The
tattooed area illustrated in both photographs is outlined.
