The rectangular case with rounded edges and fitted
with a integrated thumbpiece, the seated figure of a
young brunette lady, nude save a pair of stockings,
flanked by a couple of monkeys and apples, enamel
painted in pale blue, yellow, green, and flesh tones,
the interior with a gilt wash, stamped on the interior
with Birmingham silver marks and inscribed “JO
Ormerod-7-7-53”.
