Following the sound of a distant
drumming, I found Chief Joseph surrounded
by a large tribe of Indians. "Graduation
requires a rite of passage." Joseph said, as I
looked at him quizzically. Beginning to
create something in his hands, it was a ball
of light. Handing it to me, he said, "This is
the medicine, take it with you." "What
medicine?" I asked. "You will know."
Joseph said, as I was suddenly transported
elsewhere.
