FÈVES AU LARD
Throw young broad beans into
boiling water. When cooked, fry
some chopped bacon, add a little
flour and some of the water in
which the beans have cooked.
When the sauce has thickened put
in the beans, add half a cup of
cream. The beans must not cook
too long in the sauce or they will
lose their fresh flavour.
