The following options are available for the statistical evaluation of accident
data and the analysis of areas where there is a high concentration of
accidents:

Evaluations directly in SAP software, such as the 1000-employee quota
or the one-million-hour quota
Transfer accident data to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence or exter-
nal statistics programs, allowing flexible evaluations that take other
information into account, for example, from SAP ERP Human Capital
Management (HCM)

Transfer data from injury and illness records to accident management
records; first-aid centers and accident administration can work together
more effectively; duplicate data entry is eliminated

Site inspections

Industrial Hygiene and Safety provides support for site inspections. You can

Create a site inspection using data stored in your risk assessment tools
and work-area related objects. Use the questionnaire function to create
checklists for recording detailed results in detail.
Use the full functionality of SAP ERP’s Plant Maintenance, Quality
Management, and Customer Service components to create and process
notifications via the industrial hygiene and safety measure tool. For
example, you can create a maintenance notification — complete with the
safety measures to be carried out — and transfer these tasks to Plant
Maintenance for further action, while tracking their progress in Plant
Maintenance from Industrial Hygiene and Safety. When all tasks have
been completed, you will be notified in your Business Workplace inbox.
In the final step, simply assess the result.

Extract all costs incurred for processing industrial hygiene and safety
measures developed after site inspections from the software and use
them to calculate total amounts. An overview of costs to implement
safety measures is available at any time. If any of the cost details are
missing, you can add it manually.
Review safety measures implemented following site inspections, along
with their results, at any time. Use these measures for documentation
and evaluation purposes.

Know what you must report and when. Manage reporting calculations
and use predefined templates to transform composite data and generate
agency-approved reports.
