Specification information system
You can execute detailed searches for specifications and specification data
using the specification information solution. For example, you can use any
substance property as a search criterion. When you run a full-text search, the
system runs through all short and long texts in all relevant languages simulta-
neously. If desired, you can customize the solution to extend the delivered
search functionality. In addition, you can sharpen your results once a hit list
is displayed and then distribute them using the SAP system, Microsoft Excel,
or a browser using HTML format.
Phrase management
SAP EH&S uses text modules, called phrases, to assign texts to specification
properties. Not only can you manage and translate phrases on demand, but
also you can import commercial phrase libraries and then customize them
to meet your specific needs. Phrases can be used in all of your documents,
including your reports, MSDSs, labels, and technical data sheets.
