Rice
Why rice at all? Maybe try an extra portion of your favourite seed
with an avocado mixed in, serve with a salad. Or try wild rice, soak
it for a few hours and let it sprout for 12+ hours - it is a great
addition to most salads. Brown organic basmati is good. Also
consider the following:
Millet and Buckwheat
one part grain to two parts water for 20-25 minutes
Couscous
one part to two parts grain for 5 minutes
Bulgur Wheat
one part grain to 1.5 parts water for 20 minutes
Barley
one part grain to 2 parts water for 1.5 hours.
Served as they are mixed with herbs or with salad, few vegetables
or mixed with a soup to add thickness.
