Benhaim
Oregano
Or wild marjoram is a spicy herb used with Italian type foods,
soups and salad dressings. Mixes well with thyme and can aid
digestion.
Mint
Very easy to grow, and there are many varieties to choose from.
Great in fruit salads and with cool drinks. Effective in settling the
stomach. Also good in salads and as a general garnish.
Paprika
Milder version of cayenne pepper it is good on pale vegetables
and in dressings due to its subtle spiciness and beautiful colour.
Parsley
A cousin of ginseng, this extremely nutritional herb is a delicious,
easy to grow garnish. The leaves have a rich flavour, and there
are many kinds that can be grown easily. Great chopped in
couscous rissoles, in salads and used as a general garnish. Said
to help kidney problems, help in the body's transportation of blood
and is rich in vitamins and minerals.
Rosemary
A perennial of the mint family, helps balance out your garden. The
highly aromatic herbs have a pleasantly strong flavour used
mainly in apple and other fruit dishes.
