Laughing
Meditation
When feeling anger, jealousy, hatred, be aware that these
emotions are not the true you, but are reflections of your total
conditioning; learn to step back, to try and understand what is
really going on, and to let go.
Laughing meditation is a great post-fast activity, especially
when performed in a group. Take 10 minutes daily, preferably in a
group and perform the following:
Stage 1: (warm-up) 2 minutes
Shout 'ho ho' whilst pushing your hands horizontally out. Shout 'ha
ha' whilst bringing your hands back to your chest. Repeat. Stand
still
with five deep breaths. Bend down, dropping your hands to the
floor
and stand up, bringing your hands high and outstretched whilst
'forcing' a laugh (after a few days practice this will become more
real).
Repeat 4 times. Stand still and take five deep breaths.
Stage 2:
Warm up with 'ha ha, ho ho' approximately 10 times. Breathe in,
stand straight, puff your cheeks and 'laugh' with your mouth
