start to an action packed day. A good quality tea (see resource
pages) or Hemp Coffee for those caffeine addicts is sometimes
preferred at this time of the day. I prefer the Live Hemp

Hunger


Do you often truly feel lightness of body and real hunger? Most
people, including myself, have spent most of the time eating when
the mind or time dictates. Hunger can only be felt when the bowels
and stomach are empty, elimination has taken place and you are
physically and mentally rested. To appreciate lack of hunger, it
helps to experience this; why not try a fast, at least once?


When

 to

 Eat?


The key to the timing of a meal is to listen to the number one
expert, yourself. Eat only when hungry and drink only when thirsty.
The trick is to distinguish between your mind's habitual: 'it's food
time' and true hunger or thirst. Only you can ascertain this for
yourself. My recommendations are only a useful guiding start, it is
up to you.


The effects of good food are not simply immediate. Good
food should make you feel good all day. In digestion and
assimilation, food should not make you feel heavy but energised.
Being aware of the immediate effects of food is the way to start.
