175g hulled hemp seeds
2 tbsp hemp oil
1 tsp Hempso(tm) sauce (optional)
Herbs to taste
Soak the seeds for at least two hours. This prevents them heating
above 100UC, the boiling point for water. Then toast them lightly
for 5 seconds (no more) on a hot pan, shaking continually.
Avoiding any dark or bitter tasting seeds, thoroughly mix the
remaining ingredients. Change oil and oil content for different
textures and flavours. Best eaten immediately. Will store
refrigerated for 3-4 days
Other methods include placing a cup of whole seeds with
1 tbsp Hempso (tm) in the oven at 180°C for 3-5 minutes until
crunchy (don't forget to soak them first). Try it with just salt or
other sweeteners and herbs.
