BREAKFASTS
f you must have 'cooked' breakfasts, for those on a transition
diet and those who have not read the introduction to breakfasts
at the beginning of Section Two, to start your day you could try:
Egg-free
Scrambled
Egg
VGNS
225g tofu (hard, not silken)
1 large onion, diced
2 tbsp hulled hemp
1 tbsp ghee or hemp butter
1/4 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/8 tsp asafoetida
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp cumin
Warm fat in large pan. Cook onions until soft, then add mustard
seeds until they start to pop. Add whole lump of tofu, mashing with
a fork. Add rest of ingredients and cook on medium for 5 minutes.
