1/2 tsp orange extract or 1 tbsp grated orange peel
25g cup of mixed blanched almonds, chopped 25g hemp seeds,
roasted
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp hulled hemp seed
2 tsp sunflower seed, roasted
1 tsp sesame seed, roasted
50g coconut, shredded
Spirulina or other optional ingredients to taste
Mix dates, water, rice syrup, vanilla and orange peel in a small,
heavy pan and cook on low heat for 10 minutes so the dates are a
thick mass and the water has evaporated off. Stir in the nuts,
seeds (except hulled hemp), raisins and any optional extras and
let cool. Grease your hands with some hemp oil or butter and roll
1" balls in the coconut and hulled hemp seed, re-greasing your
hands every four to five balls.
