Without Disclosing My True Identity

Wherefore, brethren, seek not to counsel the Lord, but to take counsel from
his hand. For behold, ye yourselves know that he counseleth in wisdom, and
in justice, and in great mercy, over all his works.

Wherefore, beloved brethren, be reconciled unto him through the atonement
of Christ, his Only Begotten Son, and ye may obtain a resurrection, according
to the power of the resurrection which is in Christ, and be presented as the
first-fruits of Christ unto God, having faith, and obtained a good hope of
glory in him before he manifesteth himself in the flesh.

And now, behold, marvel not that I tell you these things; for why not speak
of the atonement of Christ, and attain to a perfect knowledge of him, as to
attain to the knowledge of a resurrection and the world to come?

Behold, my brethren, he that prophesieth, let him prophesy to the
understanding of men; for the Spirit speaketh the truth and lieth not.
Wherefore, it speaketh of things as they really are, and of the things as they
really will be; wherefore, these things are manifested unto us plainly, for the
salvation of our souls. But behold, we are not witnesses alone in these things;
for God also spake them unto prophets of old.^12

This poignant part of the Book of Mormon teaches in scriptural prose that all of us
should be “reconciled” in the submission to the laws that created this world, which also
governed the creation of those in this world. The best part of this passage suggests that all of
us can know these things without listening to what other men teach us, but instead, by
listening to “the Spirit.” The author of this passage specifically states that “we are not
witnesses alone in these things,” meaning that everyone who reads these verses already has a
witness of what is truth, and none to whom this passage is intended holds any position of
authority or power over another.

Accepting the Only Begotten Son

Joseph received his commission as a true messenger to “go down and visit the man
Adam in the Telestial world, without disclosing [his] true identity”^13 while he existed as a
newly created human being living with his creators. He was created by his mother and
influenced and taught by her. There was only one “Begotten Son.”^14 No other newly created
human had a gender forced upon them; and, other than the Christ, all remained genderless
in the pre-mortal world. We were allowed our free will to choose if we wanted to be a male,
female, or non-gendered forever—all according to our choices allowed us by the laws of free
agency and our chosen humanity type.
The Greek word “monogenes” is what was translated into the word “Begotten.” This
implies correctly that Christ was and is the “Only Begotten Son,”^15 not the only created
human, but the only male who was created already gendered. He was not given a choice of
gender because he was created for a specific and exclusive purpose—to become our
Overseer, the Anointed One, our Christ. Joseph, on the other hand, chose the role beforehand
that he would perform when we would be mortal and “go down” to help our creators set
