½ cup bottled steak sauce
¼ cup bourbon whiskey
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
4 beef steaks
1. In a zip-top plastic bag, combine the steak sauce, whiskey, honey, and mustard.
2. Add the steaks and refrigerate for 2 hours, or overnight.
3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
4. Grill the steaks for 12–15 minutes, to the desired degree of doneness.

Applebee's serves the Southwest steak with skin-on garlic mashed potatoes and garlic bread.

4 shakes blackened-steak seasoning
2 beef steaks
Butter, as needed
1 cup julienne-cut yellow onions
½ cup julienne-cut red peppers
½ cup julienne-cut green peppers
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
2 slices Cheddar cheese
2 slices Monterey jack cheese
1. Preheat the grill.
2. Add the steak seasoning to both sides of the steaks.
3. Grill steaks to desired doneness.
4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion and peppers for 2–3 minutes.
