6. Generously salt and pepper both sides of the steaks.
7. Grill steaks for 10–15 minutes, to the desired degree of doneness, brushing the steaks with
the olive oil mixture while grilling.

Outback Steakhouse Aussie Fries


French fries are always offered on the menu at steakhouses and these are loaded with flavor.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 6
1 pound frozen French fries
1 cup Mexican cheese blend
6 pieces cooked crumbled bacon


1. Preheat deep fryer to 350°F.
2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
3. Fry the French fries in small batches according to the package directions.
4. Drain the fries on paper towels.
5. Place them on a baking sheet and top with the cheese and bacon.
6. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts.

Outback Steakhouse Sautéed Mushrooms


Most steakhouses offer toppings for their steaks, and sautéed mushrooms are one of the most
popular.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4–6
1 (10½-ounce) can beef broth
½ cup diced onion
2 (8-ounce) cans or jars of small whole mushrooms, plus the juice of one
1/3 cup burgundy wine


1. Place the beef broth in a saucepan and simmer the onions for 15 minutes.
2. Add the mushrooms and wine and simmer for another 15 minutes.
