Using the

chisel edge

Place the chisel edge onto the

card. Again, aim to vary the

tone of the color by increasing

the pressure on the pastel as

you move from left to right.

Using the

sharp edge

Now use the sharp edge, and

increase the pressure on the

pastel as you move from left

to right. The line may become

slightly thicker as you increase

the pressure.
