Throughouttheprocessofcreatingthe
workI developeda techniqueoflaying
downlayersofwashedoutacrylic
andwatercolour,buildinguplayers
oftransparencythenusinglayersof
ballpointpenandwhiteacrylicand
gouachetocreatethemainsubject
matter.I enjoynothavingcontrolover
erasinga mistakewitha rubberwhen
usingballpointpen,theonlywayto
gobackis bypaintingoverit again
andthereis somethingsymbolically
honestaboutthetechniquethatI am
drawnto.
AfterfinishingmyBachelorof

FineArts,I wantedtostarta career

pathwithmyloveforIllustration,

sointhebeginningof 2012 I started

studyingdesign,andplanonmoving

intoGraphicDesignnextyear.I still

carrymyFineArtbackgroundwithme

throughoutthecourse,alwaysusing

handdrawnelements.

StilltothisdayI stillenjoydrawing

realistportraiturethemost.I loveto

capturetheemotions,personalityand

characteristicsofa specificpersonall

witha pencilanda pieceofpaper.
