Kanan welcomed his former GH
brother — and real-life cousin by
marriage — Burton, who had
been kind enough to share an
inspiring message in Kanan and
Liberman’s book. ”I have known
Steve for such a long time,” said
the author. “I honestly feel like an
older brother to him. I hope this
doesn’t sound anything but
respectful, but I am so proud of
the man Steve has become. He
epitomizes success on many levels,
and we are honored to have him
be a part of the book.”
“The thing that made the evening so special was all the participants on stage
answering questions from the audience,” Kanan noted. “The interaction was
