Azimut Magellano 66 is the fi ft h model of the Magellano Collection.
Azimut 72 Flybridge is a 22.6 m yacht boasting highly technical
construction methods with extensive use of carbon fi bre.
Asia’s leading new yacht sales and brokerage company, Simpson
Marine made a strong appearance in Cannes. As the exclusive Asian
distributor for Sanlorenzo and exclusive distributor for Monte Carlo
Yachts in Mainland China and Taiwan, the Simpson Marine team
worked alongside the two brands at the event.
Sanlorenzo exhibited nine boats at the event, including the 27 m
SL86. Th e new planing hull fi breglass motor yacht can reach max speeds
of up to 32 knots.
Th e MCY 105, the fi rst MCY vessel over 100 feet, made its world
premiere at the event. Th e superyacht was recognised as the ‘Most
Innovative’ yacht in the 80 - 120’ category during the Invictus Yacht
Trophies Awards Gala.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Princess Yachts off ered an eight-
yacht line-up, which included the Princess 35 m.
Living up to its reputation as Europe’s leading in-water yachting
festival, the event also welcomed visitors to view a number of yachts
from well-known brands including Sunreef Yachts, Beneteau and
Numarine, among others.
Next years event will continue to impress with the launch of the new
space ‘La Terrasse,’ set on the rooft op of the Palais de Festivals.
Th e space will be exclusively for international luxury brands
including an exhibition area, outdoor events space featuring the latest
product launches, art showcases and fashion shows, adding to the
overall luxury experience of the show.
