This classic 121ft motor

yacht has been listed for

sale by Burgess. Built with

a steel hull and teak

superstructure by Camper

& Nicholsons, she was

delivered in 1928 and

rebuilt in 1996. Sleeps

eight guests.

hours alone in the galley I have to

keep the good vibes going.

at insane times – generally post

clubbing, when the guests get back.

For summer charters, give me

what’s just been caught from the

sea and picked from the local

garden and I’ll get creative.

Croatia is a country of fantastic

fresh seafood and fruit and veg.

My favorite place to be in the early

morning is the many markets you

can find up and down the coast.

I love to serve slow cooked octopus

simmered in aromatic spices, then

pan fried crispy and drizzled with

olive oil and lemons. Served with

an anchovy aioli, the guests go nuts

for it. The crew do too.

Spying on Spectre
A maneuver between building halls afforded a
glimpse of Spectre, the latest James Bond-themed
yacht commissioned by John Staluppi. This 223ft,
semi-displacement vessel will be voluminous
by the looks of her but also relatively fast. Naval
architect Frank Mulder, who helped Staluppi break
the 50-knot mark with the 1988 Heesen Octopussy
and go even faster
on Moonraker, and
his son Bas Mulder
have worked with
Benetti to give Spectre
an anticipated top
speed in excess of 21
knots. Completion is
expected in 2018.
