At the wedding, Deyi forces
Canbin and Siyue apart, and
drags Siyue away. Juzi hits
Minhao in a fury, and reveals
that Siyue is his daughter. He
is stunned.
Siyue refuses to
forgive Deyi and will not
acknowledge her as her
mother.
Canbin finds out that
Hai Deshen is dead. She
perished in a plane crash.
The owner of the art gallery
has migrated to France
and the art gallery has
been sold. The funds Hai
Deshen promised were not
transferred to Wanhou.
Qihuang pressures
Wanhou to pay back his
loans.
Deyi takes over Wanhou’s
house. Removed from the
chairmanship, he vows to
take back what he deems as
his.
Huixiang deliberately tells
Zhihui that Siyue is Minhao’s
biological daughter. Zhihui is
shattered; she has always
treated Siyue as her own.
Minhao hugs Zhihui and
expresses his remorse.Zhihui wants Minhao to
pick Siyue up and take her
home. She declares Siyue
was raised by her, and she
will never give her up to Deyi.
Deyi wants Hongtao to go
to Shilu and get the evidence
that incriminates Wanhou.
Minhao feels he has let
Siyue down and apologises.
He laments that he is unfit
to be her father, and they
embrace and cry.
Siyue reasons that if
she were dead, Deyi will halt
her rampage for revenge.
She walks to the rooftop,
but is stopped by Deyi.
Reiterating that Zhihui is the
only mother she has ever
known, she insists she will
never acknowledge Deyi.
Undeterred, Deyi points
out that Siyue is the only
legitimate successor of Bao
Jin Group and the reason
for her existence is solely to
avenge her grandparents.
Deyi begs Zhihui for
forgiveness. Zhihui refuses,
on account of the hurt
inflicted on Siyue. Minhao
warns Deyi not to drag Siyue
into her revenge plans; he
declares he will protect
Siyue at all costs.
Deyi and Qihuang are
at the construction site.
They see Wanhou behaving
suspiciously. Deyi lambastes
him for framing Siyue, and
tries to push him down the
building. Wanhou blurts
out that Hongtao fell off
the building because ofHuixiang’s bad architectural
design.
Shixun becomes more
and more suspicious of
Huixiang. When she tries
to get intimate with him, he
shakes her off and says he
is going into the study to
work on Hongtao’s case.
Minhao and Zhihui pick
Siyue up. Huixiang tries to
sow discord between them
but is unsuccessful.
Zhihui chides Huixiang
for lying about misplacing
her pink bag at Qihuang’s
place. She found the bag
lying outside the house.
Huixiang snatches the bag
and throws it into the trash
bin outside the house. Yet
again, the bag is taken away
by someone.
Shixun deliberately
reveals he is investigating a
hospital regarding Hongtao’s
case. Huixiang panics.TUE OCT 10

Shixun tails Huixiang to the
hospital and witnesses her
telling the staff to destroy
her medical records. He tells
himself he will not forgive
her if she was involved in
Hongtao’s death.
Hongtao gets her hands
on evidence of Wanhou’s
corrupt practices, and
passes it onto Deyi.
Siyue leaves a note
saying she has decided to
move back to Hongtao’s
place. Zhihui is discouraged.bail to attend the wedding.
An attempt is made on
Tiancheng’s life outside the
remand centre.
Jian’an kidnaps
Zhengnan. He gives her
an injection to render her
immobile. He wants to
retrieve the face he had
given her, as he has found a
better candidate for it.
Zhengnan gathers that
Amy must have wanted
to leave Jian’an for some
reason and was killed.
Hansheng discovers
that Zhengnan has been
kidnapped by Jian’an. He
rushes over.
Jian’an tries to drown
Zhengnan in the bathtub.
When she passes out, he
goes out to the pub to see
Qianna. He tells Qianna
he has finally settled a
big problem and is happy
he has found the perfect
candidate to replace the
one he lost.
Jian’an asserts that
Qianna has saved his life
and he is certain they will
work well together.
Back home, Zhengnan
and Hansheng make Jian’an
confess that he caused
Amy’s death. Knowing the
police will soon arrive, he
tries to escape.
Xiaozu tells Xiaowen to
stage an act with him when
Jiang Yong turns up at the
hospital for his checkup.
Jiang Yong and Jinlan
deduce that Xiaozu will use
the new town project to
save Wan Fang, as he only
has five months to live.98
