Ampleforth Abbey are diverse. It is home to a community of 68 monks,

Ampleforth is one of Europe’s foremost Catholic boarding schools,
committed to all round excellence and academic ambition. This post will
provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to join us in working
with students to cultivate learning as an attitude, a value for life.
We require, for September 2018, a well-qualified, skilled and enthusiastic
graduate to lead the Classics Department. The successful candidate will be
able to teach Latin and Greek up to A level and the ability to teach Ancient
History would be an advantage. A willingness to play a full part in the
boarding and extra-curricular life of the school is essential.
The closing date for applications is Thursday 12th April 2018 at 3pm.
